The Authority has developed the draft Energy (Energy Management) Regulations, 2020 together with the associated draft Regulatory Impact Statement. The main objective of the Regulations is to improve energy efficiency and conservation among the industrial, commercial and institutional facilities.
Stakeholders are requested to review the aforementioned documents and provide feedback that will be considered for incorporation in the regulations that will be gazetted.

The memoranda marked “PUBLIC COMMENTS ON DRAFT ENERGY MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS” can be delivered by email to renewableenergy@epra.go.ke or fenwicks.musonye@epra.go.ke.
After the expiry period of the memoranda submission period, the Authority shall organize stakeholder consultation workshops.
