Mr. Marona K. Cheplel currently serves as the Director of Corporate Services at the Authority. In this role, he is responsible for formulating and implementing strategies and policies related to Finance & Accounts, Human Resources and Administration (HRA), Information Communication and Technology (ICT), and Corporate Communications.
Mr. Cheplel holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Nairobi and a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and a reputable member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Mr. Cheplel has over 17 years of professional experience, his expertise spans across Financial Management, Auditing, and Corporate Governance within the public sector.
Before joining EPRA, Mr. Cheplel contributed his skills and knowledge to various public institutions, including the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), County Government of Uasin Gishu, Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development. Additionally, he served as a Board Member at the Eldoret Water & Sanitation Company.
