Statistics on electricity comprise generation, transmission, distribution and retail. The renewable energy section covers the installed capacity for the various technologies. Statistics on petroleum include the upstream, midstream and downstream operations and infrastructural developments.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION WORKSHOPS FOR DRAFT NET METERING AND SOLAR WATER HEATING REGULATIONS 2022

The Authority together with industry stakeholders has developed The Draft Energy (Solar Water Heating) and (Net-Metering) Regulations, 2022 to streamline the renewable sub-sector in Kenya. The aforementioned draft Regulations were published for public comments on 13th January, 2022.

Accordingly, EPRA intends to undertake public participations workshops for the two (2) regulations between 6th  and 14th March 2023 in line with the Statutory Instruments Act (No. 23 of 2013), and hereby invites members of the public, and stakeholders to attend and give their views on the aforementioned regulations.
